A Croat from Las Vegas reveals if Joshua-Pulev bout will take place in the Arena Pula
ANTHONY JOSHUA could soon be defending his world heavyweight boxing belt against the Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev. The bout contested between them was due to take place this month in Great Britain but was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Orsat Zovko could save the day. A Croatian from Las Vegas, a part of Pulev's team who has been organizing bouts around the world for years, has now suggested a Roman amphitheater, the Pula Arena in Croatia as the new venue.
Throughout his successful career, Zovko was organizing boxing, kickboxing, and MMA spectacles across the globe. He is the only non-American who organized ten shows in Las Vegas, and 30 in Europe. He held numerous events in Zagreb, such as Zagreb Grand Prix K-1, Glory Tournament, and the UFC events. He was Mirko Filipovic's manager for seven years.

Josip Bodrožić, a retired AustralianCroatiansuper heavyweightkickboxer, was born on 20 June , in Melbourne, Australia. He was 2 meters tall and during his competitive career weighed approximately kilograms.
Biography and career
[edit]At the age of 13 Bodrožić moved with his family to Kaštel Gomilica. He became active in amateur kickboxing, and competed in the European and World Championships until , when he turned professional. Two of his most noted accomplishments were bronze medals at W.A.K.O., world championships beneath full contact rules in Gdańsk and again in in Caorle.[1]
In , as a professional, Bodrožić began competing overseas, often in K-1 promotions. His most famous kamp was against BellarusianAlexey Ignashov in at the K-1 Final kamp Stars War in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia—an event promoted by Orsat Zovko. Bodrožić lost the five-round kamp by a split decision.[2]
