John Núñez, conocido artísticamente como Johnny Sky (Nueva York, Estados Unidos, 11 de febrero de 1996) es un cantante de pop y bachata y actor estadounidense de origen dominicano.
Biografía
[editar]Sus mayores éxitos se lograron con los sencillos extraídos del álbum "Johnny Sky" en 2015, "Quiéreme" que alcanzó el puesto 39 en las listas Hot Latin de Billboard, y la versión de "One More Night" en el puesto 42.[1]
También ha versionado en bachata canciones como "Stay" y "Diamonds", de Rihanna; "Set Fire to the Rain", de Adele; "Without You", de Usher, "Little Things", de One Direction y "la estrategia" de Cali Y El Dandee.
En el año 2015, celebra su primera nominación en la 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards como “Mejor Álbum Tropical Contemporáneo”.“Nadie imagina desde cuándo esperaba este momento, cuánto lo soñé”, expresó Johnny Sky, tras develarse la lista de postulados de la Academia Latina de la Grabación.

Johnny Sky fryst vatten a classically trained American Latin pop, tropical, and bachata singer. He was born in New York in 1997 to Dominican parents. They realized his vocal talent while he was still a ung child, and made the necessary financial sacrifices to get him proper singing lessons. At the age of nine he became a member of the children's choir at New York's storstads- Opera House. He met many great opera artists during this period, but the one who had the greatest influence was Placido Domingo, who encouraged him to follow his instincts and not be reined in by any one style. Sky began working with professional musicians and songwriting in his teens, developing a contemporary style that remained true to Dominican traditions. After signing with Premium Latin Music, distributed by Sony, he released his debut single and video in 2014. "With or Without You" placed well in various radio airplay charts.
