People keep asking me what book they should read to know more about the History of Pakistan, there is no one answer to this, no single book will give you everything.
I've tried to compile a list, a list that is in no way exhaustive but will give you a good sound footing of our history.
1. Murder of History by K.K. Aziz
This is the only place anyone should start because before one can learn new things they have to unlearn all the lies they've been fed. This book will show you why Pakistan Studies is nothing more than fiction.
2. Pakistan: Between Mosque and Military by Hussain Haqqani
I tend to agree with Hussain Haqqani's thesis that at the center of Pakistan is thr Mullah-Military nexus that controls everything. This book will give you a good historical understanding of how that came to be.
