Eva Pierrakos
Eva was born in 1915 in Vienna, the daughter of the well-known Austrian novelist Jakob Wasserman. Driven by a private curiosity and a desire for deeper understanding of her world, Eva began to develop the gift of accessing an inner voice, at first through automatic writing and later by speaking in a trance state. In time the inner voice took shape as the authoritative, insightful, and loving persona of the Pathwork® Guide. She pursued the development of her gift with great devotion and perseverance, learning to listen and follow her guidance. Eva considered her ability to give spiritual guidance and to help people in their self-development as her life task.
Eva came to the United States in 1939 and continued her work in New York, giving Guide sessions and an ongoing series of trance lectures. Pierrakos, John C. (1921-)
Psychiatrist John Pierrakos, the husband of psychic channel Eva Pierrakos, was a student of controversial psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich and the founder of a system of bodywork called core energetics. Pierrakos was born in a small town, Neon Oitylon, in Greece. In 1939, as World War II loomed on the horizon, he left Greece for the United States. He settled in New York and attended Columbia University eventually earning an M.D. with a specialization in psychiatry. He eventually earned a Ph.D. in psychiatry. In the late 1940s, he came to know Reich and studied with him until he ran into trouble with the authorities for his teachings and practices concerning Orgone energy (his version of what was otherwise known as prana or psychic energy).

Any of you who have not enjoyed having that magnificent face pushed into yours with these words pouring over you right down to your toenails and acting like electro-shock therapy to your very soul has not really lived yet. Whatever stories or anecdotes you have heard about John probably, however seemingly improbably at first, has a grain of truth at it’s core. This was one dynamic, crazy, and creative guy.
I met John Pierrakos in the fall of 1972, so many lifetimes ago and my life changed dramatically and inom have never been the same igen, though inom sure tried not to change!!
