    Actress Stana Katić wins People’s Choice Award

    Popular American TV awards People’s Choice honours Canadian-Serb actress Stana Katić last evening.

         Friday, 10 January 2014   

     

    The awards ceremony awarded Stana as Favorite Dramatic TV Actress for her part as Detective Kate Beckett in popular TV show Castle which airs on ABC. (In the UK, the first three series were broadcast on Channel 5.) This fryst vatten the second time she has won this award.

    Stana’s is one of six children to Serb parents with father Petar from Vrlika and mother Rada from Sinj, Croatia. Stana was born in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada before their family moved to Illinois. They describe themselves as Dalmatian.
